if you love what you do, the rest just falls into place.

I don't remember a time when creativity and imagination wasn't a part of my life. As a kid, I used to make children's books with my father and redraw well known logos from memory as if it was a pastime (because it was for me). 

I, of course, took art courses in high school but it was a struggle to excel. It wasn't until I stumbled into a visual communications course at the end of high school that I knew I'd found my niche.

Visual Communications opened the door to a whole new world of art where I could put my need for experimenting with new mediums and styles to the test but could also make art that other people could easily understand and hopefully be affected by. 

I then moved to the suburbs of Chicago where I studied Visual Communications among the best at the Illinois Institute of Art. I was on a crash course to learn all I could about design, studying and taking classes year round until I graudated with a BFA.

I had every intention of staying in Chicago to design until I met my now husband, Nate, on eHarmony. He swept me off my feet and to West Michigan where I work on some of the coolest projects with the best clients.
