Kind Words From Others

"I go to Taylor for all of my design needs and recommend her services to all I meet. Here is what sets Taylor apart: she listens to the client and delivers on that information - typically nailing it the first time! I have LOVED everything Taylor has done for me from website design to logos. I find myself dreaming up new projects just so I can work with her again! She is an inspiration to design!"

Sunday, 15 July 2012 00:00

LogoLounge Volume 7 has just been released featuring one of my logo concepts for Verdoni's, an Italian Restaurant. If you're interested, you can order the book here

It's an honor to be featured among designers I admire and respect and very humbling to be seen among the greats.  Each of these publications represents the best of logo design and brand identity in the past year. Book 7 features 2,000 chosen logos from around the world and features firms such as Pentagram, Lippincott, Turner Duckworth, The Brand Union, venturethree, Dragon Rouge, and Carbone Smolan.

It's one thing to have your clients and peers appreciate the work the do but it's quite another to have your work chosen to be published. LogoLounge just informed me that a logo I put together for a local Italian restaurant was chosen for their next book, volume 7.

The logo was chosen among 36,000 entries by a panel of internaltional judges including Louise Fili of Louise Fili Ltd, Paul Howalt of Tactix Creative, Gyula Nemeth of Gyula Nemeth, Tom Andries of Today, Regine Stefan of Venturethree, Ken Carbone of Carbone Smolan Agency,  James Strange of Bailey Lauerman, and Cesar Hirata of FutureBrand BC&H.

The book should be released close to July of 2012 (the wait is going to kill me). Check out more Verdoni's logo concepts in the work section.

revelling in a new beginning

Time flies when you’re having fun and boy have we had fun at Qonverge. As a member of the Q team, I’ve been working alongside designers, programmers, and some pretty oddball creatives for about three years. I’m happy to say that we’ve now made the deicision to merge with another local design studio we’ve partnered with in the past. I’m so excited to begin working side by side with their team and seeing all the great things that will come out of this partnership. For more information on the merge, visit revel.in.
